09.12.2009 On Dec. 3, 2009 two busses with people from all over the world, mostly the global south, started from Geneva to Copenhagen. "The Social and Climate Justice Caravan" took them from Switzerland to France and Germany up to Copenhagen.
In Geneva they were protesting against the WTO-summit. On their way they took various actions, informing people about the every day impact the Climate Change has on their lives. In their activities they focussed on the links between Free Trade and Climate Change.
Mary Lou and Tom talk about the caravan and their motivation for joining.
